You repay your financing directly according to the terms established between you and Medicard.

Medicard currently offers financing from $500 to $50,000, with terms ranging from 12 to 84 months. Your approved amount, interest rate, financing term and payment amount depend on your application and are determined directly by Medicard.

How Does Medicard Work at Essencia?

It is important to complete your Medicard application before booking an appointment that you plan to pay for using Medicard financing.

The application should not be started at reception or at checkout on the day of your treatment.

1. Decide How Much Financing You Would Like to Request

When completing your Medicard application, you will be asked to enter the amount of financing you would like to request.

If you have already discussed a treatment or treatment plan with our team, this can help you estimate the amount you may need.

You may also contact the clinic if you would like an estimate of the cost of a treatment before submitting your Medicard application.

2. Apply for Medicard Online BEFORE Your Appointment

Your application must be completed, approved by Medicard and received by Clinique Injection Essencia before your treatment appointment.

3. Medicard Reviews Your Application

Once your application has been submitted, Medicard reviews your file directly.

As part of its assessment process, Medicard may verify information related to your identity, financial situation, employment, income and credit history.

Clinique Injection Essencia does not participate in this decision.

4. Wait for Approval Before Booking Your Treatment Appointment

Once your financing has been approved and the amount has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email and Clinique Injection Essencia will also receive confirmation from Medicard.

This is when you can book your treatment appointment.

Before you come to the clinic, we must have received official confirmation of your Medicard financing and the approved amount on our end.

The process is therefore:

Medicard application → Approval → Confirmation received by you AND Essencia → Appointment booking → Treatment

This ensures that everything is properly confirmed before you arrive for your treatment.

What Happens if My Treatment Costs Less Than My Medicard Amount?

You do not have to use your entire approved Medicard amount during a single appointment.

For example, if you have $2,000 in Medicard financing available but your treatment costs $1,200, only the amount used for that treatment will be applied.

The remaining Medicard amount will stay on your file at Clinique Injection Essencia and can be used toward a future eligible appointment.

You can therefore use your remaining available balance at a later appointment, according to your treatment plan and the applicable terms.

What Happens if My Treatment Costs More Than My Available Medicard Amount?

If the treatment you choose costs more than the Medicard amount available on your file, you will need to pay the difference directly to the clinic at your appointment.

For example:

Treatment cost: $1,500Available Medicard amount: $1,000Amount payable at the clinic: $500 + applicable taxes, where applicable

It is therefore important to know how much Medicard financing you have available before choosing your treatment.

Does Clinique Injection Essencia Decide Whether My Application Is Approved?

No.

Clinique Injection Essencia does not decide who is approved or declined for Medicard financing.

The application, assessment, approved amount, financing conditions and final decision are handled entirely by Medicard/iFinance Canada.

Our clinic has no control over:

• whether your application is approved or declined;

• the amount you are approved for;

• the interest rate you are offered;

• the financing term;

• your payment amount;

• the criteria Medicard uses to determine eligibility.

Our role is simply to make Medicard available as a financing option for your treatments and to apply the amount confirmed by Medicard to your clinic file once we receive it.

Medicard currently indicates that financing is available from:

You choose the amount you would like to request when completing your application.

The amount ultimately approved may differ from the amount requested and is determined entirely by Medicard.

Financing terms may range from 12 to 84 months.

Do I Have to Use My Entire Medicard Amount at Once?

No.

At Essencia, if your treatment uses only part of the Medicard amount available to you, the remaining balance stays on your file at the clinic and can be used toward a future eligible appointment.

This may be particularly useful for:

• treatment plans involving multiple appointments;

• treatments completed gradually;

• treatments requiring several sessions;

• different eligible treatments performed on different dates.

Is a Down Payment Required?

According to Medicard, a down payment is not necessarily required to obtain financing.

However, if the cost of your treatment is higher than the Medicard amount available to you, you will need to pay the difference directly to Clinique Injection Essencia at your appointment.

Can I Pay Off My Medicard Financing Early?

Yes. Medicard indicates that financing may be repaid before the end of the term without a prepayment penalty.

Your financing payments are made to Medicard according to the agreement established directly with them.

Important: Your Financing Must Be Approved BEFORE Your Appointment

To avoid any confusion, please follow these steps:

1. Complete your Medicard application online before your appointment.

2. Wait for Medicard's decision.

3. If approved, you will receive an email and Essencia will also receive confirmation of your financing.

4. Wait until your approved amount has been confirmed and received by the clinic.

5. Then book your treatment appointment.

6. On the day of your appointment, we will apply your available Medicard amount toward your treatment.

7. If your treatment costs more than your available amount, you will pay the difference directly to the clinic.

8. If your treatment costs less, your remaining Medicard balance will stay on your file at Essencia for a future eligible appointment.

You cannot arrive at checkout on the day of your treatment and begin a Medicard application with the expectation of using it to pay for that same appointment.

Your financing must already have been approved by Medicard and received by Clinique Injection Essencia before your appointment.

Does It Cost Anything to Apply for Medicard?

According to Medicard, there is no application fee to submit a financing request or request approval.

Interest may apply if you accept a financing offer. The interest rate and total cost of financing depend on the terms Medicard offers you.

We recommend carefully reviewing your financing agreement before accepting it.

What Happens if My Medicard Application Is Declined?

Financing approval is never guaranteed.

If your application is declined, the decision is made by Medicard, not Clinique Injection Essencia.Our team cannot change, reverse or influence Medicard's decision.
