The Clarity II by Cynosure is a medical laser that selectively targets the hemoglobin contained in visible small veins (spider veins). The laser energy is absorbed by the blood, heating and gradually closing the treated vein without damaging the surrounding skin. Once the vein is closed, the body naturally eliminates it over the following weeks, visibly reducing the appearance of spider veins.
